Untethered (Balloon), which is installed on the gallery ceiling for Again and Again, was conceived of to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of MKG127. The gallery opened its doors on June 30, 2007 at 127 Ossington Avenue with the two part exhibition, Happy Birthday and Friendly Greeting. Over the next ten years the gallery presented work by more than one hundred artists in more than one hundred exhibitions and eighteen art fairs. The summer show, Again and Again will celebrate this landmark with a group exhibition featuring work by all 24 gallery artists.

The gallery will also be launching a publication that includes a visual timeline in accordion fold format, a folio by each of the gallery artists and a booklet containing an interview and other writings, all housed in a printed clear mylar slipcase.

New edition launched as part of IN/HOUSE, a fundraiser for Paperhouse Studio

Added on by Roula Partheniou.

'Flat' is a replica of a wholesale egg tray, meticulously rendered in handmade paper. Concerned with replicating not only the object but also its material composition, the work is a meditation on the underlying complexity of seemingly simple materials and is the result of an elaborate (and somewhat absurd) exercise in counterfeiting.
