I am contributing a work to this year’s Open Studio Fundraiser. Below is a statement about the piece, followed by details of the event:

Prize Ribbon (Blue) adopts the "Red-white-blue" Chinatown tote bag motif, synonymous with practicality, affordability, durability and the resilience of the working-class and migrant populations around the world, and equates it with a symbol of honour and tribute. The grid was hand-drawn by the artist and then translated into a 4-layer screenprint on Kozuke paper. Printed by Jess Palmer at Open Studio.
