A pair of double-dotted ‘i’s as historical portraiture, where the second dot is an apple. A collaboration with Dave Dyment, exhibited as part of ‘A IS FOR APPLE’ at MKG127 in Toronto, Sept/Oct 2025

I,Tell refers to the story of William Tell who, as punishment for refusing to bow to the tyrannical Austrian Vogt Albrecht Gessler, is forced to shoot an apple from his son's head with a crossbow to spare his own life. He successfully splits the apple in two. When asked why he drew two arrows, he said the other was for Gessler, in case he missed.
