To and Fro is video series that documents everyday objects at play.  Ping pong balls, straws, paper cups, folded paper and rubber bands, whiz, roll and tumble across the screen - nudging, negotiating and provoking their prosaic onscreen counterparts.

The white objects appear to float on the black background, influenced by unseen outside forces – artists, Walker and Partheniou, stand just off-camera manipulating the objects with blow dryers, fans, breath, string, bouncing and tipping.  Despite the directors’ deliberate actions the objects behave unpredictably, with surprising and frequently humorous outcomes. An inherent narrative emerges.
